What happened in the world of tabletop over the last week?
The creation of the Evil Dead 2 game has gone about as well as a weekend away in a small cabin with a Book of the Dead. Jasco Games are tempting fate by trying their hand at the incantation. Groovy.
PAXAus announced the panel lineup. On again, Let’s Make a Board Game with a host of Australian tabletop talent.
Tributes to Dave Arneson, who passed away in 2009, came in as this week marked what would have been his 71st birthday. Goodman Games provided a nice look at who the man was, as well as what his legacy continues to teach us.
NY Times author Tim Wu is talking in more general terms, but his point very much applies to those in tabletop involved in creative endeavours. Sometimes we don’t have to be the best.

Cthulhu: The Horror in Dunwich
Dunwich is set to be consumed by an otherworldly invasion. Cthulhu: The Horror in Dunwich is a standalone expansion to Cthulhu: A Deck Building Game, though it can be incorporated into the original. It uses the same mechanics as the deck builder, with some new twists and turn included, and can accommodate 1-6 players.
The Kickstarter is being run by Wyvern Gaming. It has a pledge goal of AUD$33,409 of which over AUD$23,000 had currently been raised with 24 days to go. Wyvern Gaming has run five previous campaigns, with four successfully funding and delivering.
