What happened in the world of tabletop over the last week?

In a surprising move, American burger chain Wendy’s (not to be confused with the Australian ice cream chain of the same name) stepped into the RPG world with its own free system.

Forbes got game designer Rob Wieland to explore some of the hurdles of operating a smaller tabletop publisher. He’s assisted by a grab bag of industry veterans.

Drinking Quest: Old Habits

Chuglox and co are back, this time with a bit of an 80s roleplay feel. Join the crew in four new quests, plus a bonus quest, in more crazy adventures through the world of Drinking Quest.

Drinking Quest: Old Habits is for 2-4 players, and doesn’t require previous versions of Drinking Quest to play. It has a goal of AUD$13,316 and has so far raised over AUD$19,400 with 23 days still to go. The campaign is being run by Jason Anarchy, who has previously successfully funded and delivered seven other campaigns.
