This past week on the tabletop

12/08/2018 – 18/08/2018

What happened in the world of tabletop over the last week?

Could this be the coming of the Kwisatz Haderach? Gale Force Nine and Modiphius are headed to Dune to find out.

An important part of exercise is introducing new warm-up activities to complement your developing fitness. Not Monolith Games, though, who no longer have any stretch goals (thanks, I’ll be here all week).

Put those off colour and questionable thoughts to good use. Cards Against Humanity are hiring!

Is Games Workshop really, seriously, intent on expanding its properties into all kind of new spaces? Going by the annual report it seems the answer is “yes”.

Featured crowdfunding game

Super Camelot! The 16 Bit Adventure Board Game

A game of questing. A game of treasure. A game of slashing bushes and other stuff that is evil and things! Players take on the role of one of Camelot’s finest as they quest for the Holy Grail. The first player to unlock the grail wins! Or you can collect enough gems to become the wealthiest in all of Albion! This is a competitive game for 2-4 players.

Super Camelot is running on a 7 day campaign. It has a pledge goal of AUD$13,759 which it has exceeded with 2 days to go. Catalyst Games is running the campaign, and they have previously successfully funded and delivered two other games. This is the second time Super Camelot has appeared on Kickstarter looking for funding.
