This past week on the tabletop

29/04/2018 – 05/05/2018

What happened in the world of tabletop over the last week?

Get ready to head back into a world of danger and adventure. Pre-orders are now open for Cubicle 7’s latest interpretation of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay.

Who doesn’t like their hard work being recognised? A collection of Australian media content creators reveal a new award called Kanga.

Thought much about how your favourite games work? Rocky Heckman did a little shop talk about programming mechanics in tabletop games.

Pacific Rim, Rampage and the Cloverfield series has brought large monsters to our screens. Privateer Press think it’s time to bring them back to our tabletops, with the announcement of a new edition of Monsterpocalypse on its way.

And of course, May the 4th  assailed us once again.

Featured crowdfunding game

Mr. Cabbagehead’s Garden

Do you love your vegetable garden? You probably would not appreciate it if your neighbours came into it when you were away on holiday. What if they tried to mess with it? Then there are the bees, and the impending visit of the Garden Committee.

Mr. Cabbagehead’s Garden is a card game for 1-2 players. The Kickstarter has a target goal of AUD$6,633, which has currently been met and exceeded. It is designed and published by LudiCreations, who have previously successfully funded and delivered titles such as Iunu, Steal This Game and Essen.
