Tabletop gamers in the western end of Australia, prepare to get excited. Perth’s inaugural war game, card game and board game convention, the Southern Hemisphere Open, is on its way. There will be tournament and free play options, as well as workshops, panels and a selection of exhibitors.
It will be held 23-25 September, at Ascot Racecourse in Perth. The convention is the brain child of Objective Secured, a local organisation which hosts and runs tabletop events. A standard 3 day pass is AUD$40, though there are a variety of options for people interested in participating in particular tournaments. Check the ticketing page on Eventbrite for more information.
