Another independent magazine for hobbyists is on its way. Called WIP Magazine, this publication is aimed squarely at miniature painters and modellers. From their Facebook page:
W.I.P. will be useful for beginners as well as interesting for the most experienced… how many times have you embarked on a very uncertain journey when starting a piece? The beauty of W.I.P. lies in its simplicity, the many photos of each step and the advice from the Masters. W.I.P. is a window onto the world of model building, making it easy to channel visual experience and put it into practice. The various points of view and pieces of advice will be useful to create your piece, and your fears will vanish without even noticing… Because only when we are able to look at the miniature statue with confidence, will we be capable of transforming one instant into action, and suddenly everything will be revealed and our object will turn into a small work of art, which will be truly unique with just a bit of creativity on our part…
The WIP Magazine website is currently under construction, but you can keep up to date with the magazine on the Facebook page. At the moment the magazine is slated to be released at the end of May.
