What happened in the world of tabletop over the last week?

One of the most well known tabletop game designers in the world, Eric Lang was banned from Twitter. He was back two days later, but the whole episode doesn’t reflect well on the social media platform. Welcome back Eric!

The uncertainty and problems arising from pandemic related lockdowns and economic downturns hasn’t seemed to have stopped board gamers from spending on Kickstarter. In fact, they seem to have spent more than ever!

Golden Bell Studios want in on that crowdfunding coin. But a Reddit user has questioned some of the clauses in the contract.

They are made from cardboard, but are they board games? Even if you don’t count them as such, this is still pretty awesome.

Surrealist Dinner Party

What would e better than hosting a dinner party? Holding one for all your favourite surrealist artists and writers. Can everyone get along and have a good time? Or will things get… weird?

Surrealist Dinner Party is a strategic card game for 2-4 players. It has a goal of AUD$23,028 and has so far raised over AUD$16,350 with 23 days to go. The campaign is being run by Mary Flanagan and is her fourth.
