What happened in the world of tabletop over the last week?

We are getting closer and closer to seeing the Warhammer 40,000 universe alive on our TV screens.

Games aren’t a new concept; they have been around for almost as long as mankind. But Alex at Marginal Revolution pondered on why we currently have the games we do.

Boomerang is back!

Draft and write game Boomerang has returned, this time with two sister games. Visit places and perform tasks in Australia, Europe or USA before your opponents to be crowned the best traveller.

Boomerang is a card game for 2-4 players. It has a goal of AUD$20,000 and has so far raised over AUD$21,800 with 11 days to go. The campaign is being run by Grail Games, and is their 17th, with games such as Circus Flohcati and Medici successfully funding and delivering.
