What happened in the world of tabletop over the last week?

Roleplay games can include more than adventuring and high jinks. These activities are explored in the recently released Consent In Gaming.

Buried under a mountain of FFG expansions? The company is well aware, and keen to do something about it.

In an effort to help his players understand what they are seeing, one Reddit user provided a helpful visualisation of the standard D&D five foot square.

Kickstarter apparently doesn’t like the idea of its workforce being unionised. At least, that’s what it seems like after a spate or recent firings.

Featured crowdfunding campaign

LumberJerks

Be the most ruthless lumberjack as you try to chop down your chosen tree, all while stopping others from doing the same. Take chunks out of your chosen pine with the help of chainsaw or pancakes, or grow opponents trees back thanks to a watering can or magic beans. As far as we know, no buttered scones for tea, though.

LumberJerks is for 2-5 players and plays in 15-30 minutes. It has a goal of AUD$11,640 and has so far raised over AUD$7,300 with 18 days to go. The campaign is being run by Howling Hog Games, and is their second created. Their first, The Curse of Misfortune Lane, successfully funded and shipped to backers.
