What happened in the world of tabletop over the last week?

Both the BoardGameGeek brand and website UI is getting a bit long in the tooth. But it looks like a long overdue update is on the horizon.

Waterloo I was defeated, you won the war. Waterloo promise to love you for ever more. Waterloo couldn’t escape if I wanted to. Waterloo knowing my fate is to be with you.

Games Workshop has a new range of quite astounding paints coming out. What better way to show them off than getting John Blanche to test them out?

Anno Urbis – The Fight for Rome

Make your claim for the Roman Empire. Guide the conquest of territories, grow settlements, and navigate politics. All while consolidating your power through the people’s favourite pastime: the gladiatorial arena.

Anno Urbis is a 2-4 player strategy game. Players attempt to control the seven hills of Rome, all while constructing infrastructure and succeeding in the area. The campaign has a pledge goal of AUD$52,283 and has so far raised over AUD$10,500 with 22 days to go. It is being run by Fengi Games, and is their second Kickstarter. Their previous Kickstarter, Shhh. It! successfully funded and fulfilled.
