How is this for customer service?
Skyward: Airborne City is already a really fantastic game. And from what I got to see at PAX Aus last year the coming standalone expansion, Skyward: Republic, will be equally as impressive.
While we wait for that though, the games designer Brendan Evans has a bit of a surprise for fans. Since the start of March he has been releasing cards for a mini-expansion, Skyward Stipulation, onto BoardGameGeek. Stipulation changes up the game by adding new rules, or adding variations to existing ones.
To start with Brendan is releasing Stipulation cards which use the Allegiances expansion. It looks like the plan is to have a new theme each month.
In his post about the bonus cards, Brendan explained why he was doing this. “It will be a little while before we are able to talk more about our standalone expansion “Skyward: Republic”, but I think its [sic] great when game developers have the opportunity to provide some brand new content to players as a way of saying “thank-you” to the people who play this game.”
