What happened in the world of tabletop over the last week?

Ninja Division has come under fire for failing to deliver a number of Kickstarter rewards. Idaho Statesman explored what is going on, and how those affected are reacting.

Maker of vinyl toys, Funko, announced that it had acquired tabletop game studio Forrest-Pruzan Creative. The studio is well known for games such as Hary Potter: Hogwarts Battle and Villainous.

A study which includes a focus on hormone levels of couples while they play board games was published by Baylor University.

February 12 brought us Joe Dever Day, celebrating the life and creations of the acclaimed author.

Heroes of Terra: The Mushroom War for Savage Worlds

A parallel world, where dinosaurs never went extinct and a fungus civilisation has arisen. Using the Savage Worlds Adventure Edition rules, Heroes of Terra give players a chance to brave the dangers of a pulp and video game inspired setting.

Heroes of Terra has a goal of AUD$4,229 and has raised AD$1,399 with 26 days to go. It is being run by Jeremy Puckett, and is his second Kickstarter after Black Bottom Hollow which failed to fund.
