This past week on the tabletop

30/10/2016 – 05/12/2016

What happened in the world of tabletop this weekend?

Australians get another reason to love the Queens Birthday holiday. Convention ShepparCon will be on that weekend, 10-11 June.

A painted miniatures gains value. You will appreciate that joke more once you read the article.

Digital games becoming tabletop games is an increasingly common occurrence. Rule & Make join the gang of developers creating tabletop versions of digital games with the announcement of Hand of Fate.

Who needs world-wide peace, harmony and acceptance when we can have another trading card game? Games Lab announced that they will be releasing their game Final War at PAXAus 2016. Hang on a minute…

PAXAus is on again in Melbourne, Australia. There is a very real chance that you will be reading this news post on the way too, or at, PAXAus. In which case, if you see The Campaigner’s editor Matthew wandering about, go say hi!

While at PAXAus you can also go to the TGDA booth in the tabletop section and purchase a TGDA showbag for $5, which contains items like games and a USB with print-and-plays, podcasts and more. And while you are there, why not try out some of the games by local designers?

Some of the new Kickstarters from this week:

This is not an endorsement of any of these games, creators or Kickstarter campaigns.
