Each year tabletop wargame group Geelong Gamers Guild, from Victoria, Australia, holds a tournament called The Blanket Bash. The event collects blankets and cans of food that are ultimately provided to people less fortunate. This year has seen The Blanket Bash’s profile increase dramatically, with media coverage by the local newspaper The Geelong Advertiser.

This year the tournament is a combined Warhammer 40,000 and Warmachine/Hordes bill. It is to be held this Monday, 8 June, during the Queens Birthday holiday. If you want to participate, or just donate something, check the Geelong Gamers Guild Facebook page, or directly contact the clubs president Joel Kviz.
